This page says what we collect when you use vanstock.trade, why, who else sees it, and how to get it deleted. Plain English, no small print.
Who we are
VAN STOCK TRADE LTD (company no. 17464436), registered office 137 Johnstone Road, Southend-on-Sea, SS1 3NG. We're the data controller. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), registration number ZC253854.

We don't sell your data. We don't use it for advertising profiles.
Emails and texts
We only send launch news and updates about VanStock Trade. Every email has an unsubscribe link. To stop texts, reply STOP or email us.
Who else handles it
We use a few suppliers to run the site. They only process your data on our instructions.

Where data goes outside the UK, it's protected by UK adequacy regulations (including the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework) or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Waiting list and Founding 500: until 24 months after launch, or until you ask us to remove you, whichever is first. If you become a customer, it moves into your VanStock Trade account.
- Fleet, FM and Shop enquiries: 24 months from your last contact with us.
- Emails to us: 24 months.
- Server logs: kept by Netlify for a short period for security, then deleted.
When the app launches
At launch, founding members' details move from our waiting list into the VanStock Trade app so your founding number and pricing carry over. We'll email you before this happens. The app has its own privacy notice covering location, payments and notifications.
Your rights
You can ask us to see, correct, delete or hand over your data, to stop using it, or object to how we use it. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Email beacon@vanstock.trade. We'll reply within one month.
If you're not happy with how we've handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We'd like the chance to sort it first.
Age
VanStock Trade is for working tradespeople and businesses. It's not for anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this page in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top and email the waiting list.
